Submitted By: Brian Crowley: It was my mother who originally subscribed to Fate magazine, and to this day I still have a collection of those old magazines stored in a filing cabinet. Each issue of Fate delivered to our home offered the promise of opening up new horizons; be it the unearthing of an archeological find, such as the discovery of the location of the ancient city of Troy, or delving into the possibilities of worlds that remain unseen all around us. There was no subject pertaining to the unexplained that Fate did not touch upon. In 1979 a friend presented me with the story of "The Money Pit”; a two hundred year old mystery, at the heart of which lies a buried treasure. She suggested that we should be the ones to solve this mystery. Fate magazine proved to be an invaluable research tool, and on two separate occasions would provide me with definitive answers to questions I sought concerning that mystery. I can literally say that Fate has lent me a hand in this endeavor. I highly recommend this publication to anyone who has an open mind, and a desire to explore all that remains unknown to us. Thank you for continuing to provide such a thought provoking magazine.
